Tinkering Labs is a brand that is based on 15 years of tinkering experience with thousands of kids in our San Francisco school and camps. Our products are made from real wood, real motors, and real hardware, and are designed in California. They are the perfect hands-on gift for young inventors aged 8 to 12.

Tinkering Labs' origins can be traced back to 2005, when we started a camp where kids were given challenges such as "build a wood roller coaster big enough to ride." We learned that when kids are trusted with real-world challenges and their own ideas, they can accomplish more than they think they can.
